The Nickel REACH Consortia has been created by the Nickel Institute to help companies manage their EU REACH and CLP obligations related to nickel and inorganic nickel compounds.
There are 3 different Nickel Consortia covering 13 substances in total: nickel (metal), 11 inorganic nickel compounds (mono-constituent substances) and a complex material (UVCB substance). You will find more information under Nickel Consortia.
If you are a SIEF member, you will find on this website all the information needed about the REACH Regulation, Data-Sharing and how to access the data required for REACH.
If you are a downstream user, you can go to the Exposure Scenario Library to check whether your uses are properly covered in the REACH dossiers.
Please also refer to the Nickel Institute website for technical information about the health, safety and environmental aspects of nickel and nickel compounds.
